We stayed here before that is why I chose it again. Here for a softball tournament in Hillsboro. The location is great, the staff is very, very friendly--in fact we were able to check in early even though we didn't ask, the room is very clean & spacious. Also we thought the breakfast was great--freshly cooked scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, self made waffles, bagels, toast etc. I would definitely stay here again. Shopping area not too far away. The first time we stayed here it was great & it is still great. I will definitely stay here again. Also, when I checked out, I was charged for the safe which I never did use. Good thing I saw this so they removed the daily charge. Although they said I signed for it when I checked in, I did not realize it. Chelsea was very nice to credit me. Thank you for my stay at this Comfort Inn Beaverton :o)
Although its a Non-Smoking facility, our rm#305 smelled of smoke the whole entire time. I could have requested to move rooms but I thought it would have aired out which it didn't. It was really weird, only when we enter the room it was strong but with the AC running it would clear out. Also just be aware, during the week day mornings, there is a train that goes thru the town.
Beds were comfortable and our room was at the far end of the 3rd floor so it was quiet. Breakfast room was spacious and cheery and the food was good.
Nothing. Not one single attribute that exceeded expectations.
When we arrived I was immediately disappointed by the appearance of the property, even from the exterior. It is VERY worn down…a very tired hotel, and not well maintained. Rusty grills on the HVAC units, chipped paint everywhere, faded stucco. The fact that the elevator CANNOT be accessed from said lobby…only from the garage. The general worn and weary look of the property continues in the various public spaces, such as hallways. What was also beneath expectations was the DRONING HVAC unit (should have seen that coming given the exterior appearance). Loud rattling all night, which was not helped at all by the blaring train whistle at 3:00am ( there are train tracks SOMEWHERE close by, as the trained sounded like it was right next door outside the window) and the thin floor / ceiling arrangement which allowed by to be aware that tromping around at 5:00am in the morning.
The bed was comfortable. Loved the pillows and comforter; they were white and fluffy. I was on the 3rd floor (top), so no overhead noise-nice. Bathroom was clean with plenty of soft towels. Good-sized fridge and microwave were a bonus. Surrounding area felt safe, and Ava Roasteria café is just a few blocks away. Also, good location for quick city access.
Bathroom caulking needs replaced at tub/floor seam. Tray with glasses and ice bucket should be replaced, too; it's stained (probably not an expensive item to replace). One thing the hotel has no control over (but took me by surprise) is the wicked-loud train that barrels through at random times - usually evening, sometimes early morning.
I enjoyed the options for breakfest, our children liked it as well. The staff was fair; kept to themselves.
There was ants in our room everything we brought with us had to be thrown away unless we had it in the fridge. There was dust all over the desks and hallways. The room next door had a very loud person whatching t.v. at 12:30 at night and when we called front desk to ask them turn it down the staff did nothing.
Nice Parking Garage
Waking up to ants in the Bathroom and on the Desk. The bathroom sink seemed clogged as it took forever to drain
People smoking pot on property and property dirty.
The room is very clean and the beds very comfortable. We really enjoy the breakfast. It's fresh and has many healthy options.
There was a very loud dripping sound which we discovered was from the a/c unit on the floor above us leaking onto our floor. We ended up checking out very early since we couldn't sleep with the dripping noise.
End my stay
Endless renovation, old building, old furniture, noisy, not clean,
The beds / linens and overall room was very clean.
The elevator, was a pain the butt and gross. I booked my room online was charged an "authorization charge" two weeks before my reservation, I then also had to pay cash for the room when I got there and I have not been refunded the "authorization charge". So technically I paid twice for one night. NOT HAPPY.
Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
This facility is located very near metro tracks and a major intersection, so the train would blow its horn at approach which lasted until @ 12am and would begin again @ 5 am. Outside noise was barely filtered out. Breakfast choices were minimal, as were bathroom amenities. Restaurant nearby was fine, but nothing special.
We got there put us in a room with constriction going on untill 8 pm started Saturday at7:45 am horrible people started coming I with out knocking at 7:45 am we were charged for a safe that was not in our room 208 we made them move us to another room not very clean smelled really bad not the weekend we wanted will never book with you people and never comfort suites again the staff just laugh Ed when I spoke to them. Not very business like
All of it not one thing was good
Had a quite room. Had underground parking which avoided getting wet from the rai.
Could not operate the shower control valve to turn on water. Afraid of breaking something if forced. Used sink to bathe. Poor TV reception, appears to have a bad cable or connection.
This hotel clearly did some resent remodeling. Unfortunately, whoever did the work did a horrible job. I hope they can sue whoever did the tile work in the bathrooms and get their money back.
We had two rooms adjoining. Both sinks leaked all over the floor every time you turned the water on. The property has a general scary atmosphere to the point that my daughter and I were leery of walking across the parking lot to the diner due to the young man doing his dealing in the parking lot.
